The evaluation team for the Global Logic and Reasoning Competition (GLRC) 2026 has confirmed that I passed the Semi-Final Round. I have officially qualified for the Finals!

GLRC gives students like me a chance to challenge ourselves with logic and problem-solving beyond what we usually learn in school. It is a chance to explore different ways of thinking and tackle questions that take more than memorizing facts.

What Was in the Semi-Final Round?

The Semi-Final Round included three problems, each with a different level of difficulty:

  • Basic Problem, with a more approachable level of difficulty.

  • Advanced Problem, with a tougher reasoning challenge.

  • Research Problem, requiring us to read a short research paper before the exam and use what we learned to answer questions.

The research problem went beyond a typical school assignment. It meant thinking carefully about the paper’s claims, assumptions, and evidence.

What’s Next?

The Final Round is the next challenge: thinking carefully while keeping an eye on the clock! I am excited to have made it this far, and I am looking forward to challenging myself again in the finals!
